< < Back To Picture List

Very early (1890) and desirable dice machine made by Clement Clawson. Drop a nickel into the clockwork mechanism and six dice are rolled into two red dice cups. Great animation and remarkable action for an early gambling machine. Several original mechanisms were found in the Clawson warehouse in New Jersey in 1978. Reproduction cabinets were made to complete the machines. My example is one of the few completely original machines. It was found in a barn loft in Joplin, MO in the mid-1970's. It is also pictured on page 7 with Dick Bueschel in his Vintage Trade Stimulators & Counter Games book. It was previously in the Bob Strauss and Michael Sabee collections.
